Absolutely lovely rooms and location. The breakfast was also excellent with plenty of options for adults and children. We will be recommending Blas Gwyr to our friends and relatives for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway in a beautiful setting.

Blas Gŵyr – July 2009 Having had personal recommendations in Cardiff off people who’d already stayed in the newly opened ‘Blas Gŵyr’ we looked forward to our break in Llangennith with great anticipation. We weren’t to be disappointed. Indeed, it was even better than our expectations, having a real Welsh welcome off our charming hosts Dafydd and Kerri in a beautiful, quiet setting. We stayed in the ‘Grug’ room, which was very tastefully furnished with modern decor and had a really relaxing ambience. A glass of wine in the sun trap of a courtyard was an added bonus, as was the bara lawr in the hearty breakfast, full of local produce. WOW, what a find. The perfect place in the perfect village, we fell in love with the Gower and each other all over again with the help of this very special B&B where nothing was too much trouble. Beautifully modern rooms and very reasonable price for the level of comfort and service. Dafydd's breakfasts and Italian apple cake are out of this world, and we can't wait to come back and try the Saturday evening Tuscan dinner soon. We were a family of four staying for a week at the start of the summer hols. Dafydd and Kerry were both delightful and welcoming. THe accommodation was peaceful, well appointed and perfectly located for our week of sun, surf and sea. excellent breakfast, full of local knowledge and even babysitting was arranged. Highly recommended. They were good hosts and a lovely family.

We had the Grug Rooom. Absolutely amazing. Big, clean and cozy room, fantastic, huge bathroom, (photo doesn't do it justice!shower-wow!) very comfortable. Perfect location - excellent walks, and near the beautiful Rhossili beach! The owner is a lovely man, who cooks a feast for breakfast!!! Ask him for directions and things to see, and things to eat - he knows everything. Would recommend 100%. Will definitely go back one day! Thank you!

Stayed at Blas Gwyr recently. Lovely rooms , very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We were well looked after by Kerry both in providing a great breakfast and also by telling us about lots of good local walks. Will be back in the Autumn.

I visited right at the start of business and was amazed to be in such a wonderful place by the sea. Both Kerry and Dafydd were very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. I loved my stay and would recommend this beautiful place. The furniture and interior design is as good as any other five star accommodation I have stayed at. Couldn't fault the room,dafydd was away but his son and sue made us more then welcome,breakfast was lovely and the location spot on,would definetley stay again,would recommend the kings head in the village lovely food,and only short walk to it. We stayed for two nights would like to stay longer next time.

Dear Dafyyd - we just wanted to say a big thank you for looking after us for two weeks. It was a real home from home holiday, yet still with all the magic and romance of our first Blas Gwyr stay. We are missing our super comfortable bed in LLyrlys, your famous Glamorgan sausages and your wonderfully Welsh sense of humour. Your intimate knowledge and love of the Gower peninsula is the icing on the cake. As well as recommending Blas Gwyr to all our friends, family and colleagues I think it goes without saying ' we will be back' Diolch, Cwtch and Hiraeth.

Perfect location for a surfing holiday, with great breakfasts and lovely 'designer' rooms. Dafydd and Kerry were kind enough to act as a taxi for a special evening meal, and were happy to share local surf knowledge too! Recommended already to friends and family - thanks a lot for a very relaxing week.

Just want to thank Dafydd for making our stay at Blas Gwyr so fabulous. The weekend away was a suprise 30th Birthday present for my husband, and Dafydd added the extra touches to make it extra special e.g. balloons, champagne and chocolates. The room was of superb quality and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We will definately be recommending this B & B to all our friends and family : )

We had a lovely stay at Blas Gwyr. Dafydd was a great host who made us welcome, gave us directions to where we needed to go and cooked the most amazing Welsh breakfast. Our room was comfortable, clean and warm a lovely place to relax after a day walking on the beach. We would highly recommend staying her if you visit the stunning area.

Had a wonderful stay. We had the room called Grug which was spacious and very comfortable. The wet room was brilliant great shower and as we stayed at a very hot time of the year was a bonus. Only negative was the sofa needs changing as it's starting to look tatty. Breakfast was very good. Very good poached eggs served in a relaxing environment. Daffid very genial and approachable host All in all great stay and would like to book again.
