A fantastic place to stay, right in the centre of the village. The accommodation has a lovely fresh feel to it, the bed is really snuggly, and the breakfasts hearty. Daffyd is a great hosts- nothing too much trouble, and he's a great cook - the home-made glamorgan sausages are a triumph!

Blas Gŵyr – July 2009 Having had personal recommendations in Cardiff off people who’d already stayed in the newly opened ‘Blas Gŵyr’ we looked forward to our break in Llangennith with great anticipation. We weren’t to be disappointed. Indeed, it was even better than our expectations, having a real Welsh welcome off our charming hosts Dafydd and Kerri in a beautiful, quiet setting. We stayed in the ‘Grug’ room, which was very tastefully furnished with modern decor and had a really relaxing ambience. A glass of wine in the sun trap of a courtyard was an added bonus, as was the bara lawr in the hearty breakfast, full of local produce. Stayed at Blas Gwyr recently. Lovely rooms , very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We were well looked after by Kerry both in providing a great breakfast and also by telling us about lots of good local walks. Will be back in the Autumn.

We were a family of four staying for a week at the start of the summer hols. Dafydd and Kerry were both delightful and welcoming. THe accommodation was peaceful, well appointed and perfectly located for our week of sun, surf and sea. excellent breakfast, full of local knowledge and even babysitting was arranged. Highly recommended. They were good hosts and a lovely family.

We spent a magical weekend at the Dafydd's B&B. Beautifully decorated room, wonderful company at breakfast... Not to mention the history lession and tourist information bureau, all in one person... Dafydd! We will definitely be back. Beautiful coat, great people.

This is the perfect weekend get away or if you have more time (lucky you!) a longer relaxing break. The standard of the rooms are excellent, the bed is incredibly comfortable, combined with fantastic breakfasts and the most stunning views and walks right on your doorstep you are in for a treat! We enjoyed our stay so much we got engaged here!! We will be back one day to enjoy the tranquillity and wonderful friendly service again!

Fantastic is the only way to describe our stay at blas gwyr. Kerry and Daffyd are very friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are beautiful and breakfast is delicious, a good selection of local food, both hot and cold. We wish Kerry and Daffyd every success with their business.

This has been mine and my girlfriend's retreat for 4 years now, and each time just gets better. Daffyd is a fantastic host and chef, both evening meals and breakfast are perfect. The b&b is an Ideal place for quiet get away, hill climbing and without a doubt the surf is nearly as good as the breakfast! Keep up the good work Daf.

Couldn't fault the room,dafydd was away but his son and sue made us more then welcome,breakfast was lovely and the location spot on,would definetley stay again,would recommend the kings head in the village lovely food,and only short walk to it. We stayed for two nights would like to stay longer next time.

I visited right at the start of business and was amazed to be in such a wonderful place by the sea. Both Kerry and Dafydd were very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. I loved my stay and would recommend this beautiful place. The furniture and interior design is as good as any other five star accommodation I have stayed at.
