This has been mine and my girlfriend's retreat for 4 years now, and each time just gets better. Daffyd is a fantastic host and chef, both evening meals and breakfast are perfect. The b&b is an Ideal place for quiet get away, hill climbing and without a doubt the surf is nearly as good as the breakfast! Keep up the good work Daf.

I visited right at the start of business and was amazed to be in such a wonderful place by the sea. Both Kerry and Dafydd were very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. I loved my stay and would recommend this beautiful place. The furniture and interior design is as good as any other five star accommodation I have stayed at. How nice to find a B&B that looks beter in the flesh than on the website!! We had two great nights here and were well looked after. Rooms are immaculate, stylish and comfortable; as is the dining room. Also, in my opinion, situated on the best part of the Gower. Would reccomend to anyone. Thanks Dafydd and Kerry.

Blas Gŵyr – July 2009 Having had personal recommendations in Cardiff off people who’d already stayed in the newly opened ‘Blas Gŵyr’ we looked forward to our break in Llangennith with great anticipation. We weren’t to be disappointed. Indeed, it was even better than our expectations, having a real Welsh welcome off our charming hosts Dafydd and Kerri in a beautiful, quiet setting. We stayed in the ‘Grug’ room, which was very tastefully furnished with modern decor and had a really relaxing ambience. A glass of wine in the sun trap of a courtyard was an added bonus, as was the bara lawr in the hearty breakfast, full of local produce. A real treat, we will definitely be coming back to have more of a taste of ‘Blas Gŵyr’. Diolch am y croeso. Geraint & Cath, Cardiff

WOW, what a find. The perfect place in the perfect village, we fell in love with the Gower and each other all over again with the help of this very special B&B where nothing was too much trouble. Beautifully modern rooms and very reasonable price for the level of comfort and service. Dafydd's breakfasts and Italian apple cake are out of this world, and we can't wait to come back and try the Saturday evening Tuscan dinner soon. Where do i start with the superlatives, superb host in Dafydd , breakfast was a treat every morning great variations, Rhedin room was lovely and comfortable , with the wet bathroom an added touch, will re visit and recommend anyone to try Blas Gwr

We had the Grug Rooom. Absolutely amazing. Big, clean and cozy room, fantastic, huge bathroom, (photo doesn't do it justice!shower-wow!) very comfortable. Perfect location - excellent walks, and near the beautiful Rhossili beach! The owner is a lovely man, who cooks a feast for breakfast!!! Ask him for directions and things to see, and things to eat - he knows everything. Would recommend 100%. Will definitely go back one day! Thank you!

Just had three nights at Blasgwyr, can only be described as excellent in every department.

Had a wonderful stay. We had the room called Grug which was spacious and very comfortable. The wet room was brilliant great shower and as we stayed at a very hot time of the year was a bonus. Only negative was the sofa needs changing as it's starting to look tatty. Breakfast was very good. Very good poached eggs served in a relaxing environment. Daffid very genial and approachable host All in all great stay and would like to book again.

Me and my partner have just has the privilege of staying in Blas Gwyer, we could not of asked for more, the room was absolutely stunning very well designed and spacious we LOVED the under floor heating! Just want to say a special thank you to Dafydd for his hospitality and beautiful breakfast !! 12/10!!

Perfect location for a surfing holiday, with great breakfasts and lovely 'designer' rooms. Dafydd and Kerry were kind enough to act as a taxi for a special evening meal, and were happy to share local surf knowledge too! Recommended already to friends and family - thanks a lot for a very relaxing week.

We spent a magical weekend at the Dafydd's B&B. Beautifully decorated room, wonderful company at breakfast... Not to mention the history lession and tourist information bureau, all in one person... Dafydd! We will definitely be back. Beautiful coat, great people.

Stayed at Blas Gwyr recently. Lovely rooms , very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We were well looked after by Kerry both in providing a great breakfast and also by telling us about lots of good local walks. Will be back in the Autumn.
