Dear Dafyyd - we just wanted to say a big thank you for looking after us for two weeks. It was a real home from home holiday, yet still with all the magic and romance of our first Blas Gwyr stay. We are missing our super comfortable bed in LLyrlys, your famous Glamorgan sausages and your wonderfully Welsh sense of humour. Your intimate knowledge and love of the Gower peninsula is the icing on the cake. As well as recommending Blas Gwyr to all our friends, family and colleagues I think it goes without saying ' we will be back' Diolch, Cwtch and Hiraeth.

Me and my partner have just has the privilege of staying in Blas Gwyer, we could not of asked for more, the room was absolutely stunning very well designed and spacious we LOVED the under floor heating! Just want to say a special thank you to Dafydd for his hospitality and beautiful breakfast !! 12/10!!

We loved the location it was perfect for our little trip! Daffyd was really helpful with all his local knowledge and got up extra early one day to make us breakfast as we had an early start! Room was lovely n cosy and my boyfriend thought the shower room was ace. Right near the local pub and wonderful walk to rhossili beach. This was a special trip for my birthday as I fond memories of the Gower, Blas Gwyr made it very memorable.

We had a lovely stay and were very well looked after. The accommodation was of a very high standard and beautifully located. We can't wait to come back again next Spring

Very confortable B&B with natural decoration, beatiful view and quietness. Breakfast very rich and including typical Welsh specialties on request. Landlord very kind and entertaining, with plenty of information on Welsh traditions, language and history to give. Would recommend it to everyone.

Blas Gŵyr – July 2009 Having had personal recommendations in Cardiff off people who’d already stayed in the newly opened ‘Blas Gŵyr’ we looked forward to our break in Llangennith with great anticipation. We weren’t to be disappointed. Indeed, it was even better than our expectations, having a real Welsh welcome off our charming hosts Dafydd and Kerri in a beautiful, quiet setting. We stayed in the ‘Grug’ room, which was very tastefully furnished with modern decor and had a really relaxing ambience. A glass of wine in the sun trap of a courtyard was an added bonus, as was the bara lawr in the hearty breakfast, full of local produce. A real treat, we will definitely be coming back to have more of a taste of ‘Blas Gŵyr’. Diolch am y croeso. Geraint & Cath, Cardiff

We spent a magical weekend at the Dafydd's B&B. Beautifully decorated room, wonderful company at breakfast... Not to mention the history lession and tourist information bureau, all in one person... Dafydd! We will definitely be back. Beautiful coat, great people.

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Blas Gwyr - it was perfect in every respect. Really comfy bed, beautifully decorated and so cosy on a rainy weekend. And the breakfast was delicious too. Loved everything! Perfect weekend getaway destination - have returned home feeling revitalised. Can't wait to come back again - hopefully for longer next time!

Just want to thank Dafydd for making our stay at Blas Gwyr so fabulous. The weekend away was a suprise 30th Birthday present for my husband, and Dafydd added the extra touches to make it extra special e.g. balloons, champagne and chocolates. The room was of superb quality and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We will definately be recommending this B & B to all our friends and family : )

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Blas Gwyr July 1-4, 2019. The room was comfortable and cozy and the property is centrally located to many beautiful Gower Peninsula sights. Spending time over the delicious breakfast with Daffyd, the proprietor, was a delight and gave me a wonderful introduction to this beautiful country and its language.

This has been mine and my girlfriend's retreat for 4 years now, and each time just gets better. Daffyd is a fantastic host and chef, both evening meals and breakfast are perfect. The b&b is an Ideal place for quiet get away, hill climbing and without a doubt the surf is nearly as good as the breakfast! Keep up the good work Daf.

We were a family of four staying for a week at the start of the summer hols. Dafydd and Kerry were both delightful and welcoming. THe accommodation was peaceful, well appointed and perfectly located for our week of sun, surf and sea. excellent breakfast, full of local knowledge and even babysitting was arranged. Highly recommended. They were good hosts and a lovely family.

This is the perfect weekend get away or if you have more time (lucky you!) a longer relaxing break. The standard of the rooms are excellent, the bed is incredibly comfortable, combined with fantastic breakfasts and the most stunning views and walks right on your doorstep you are in for a treat! We enjoyed our stay so much we got engaged here!! We will be back one day to enjoy the tranquillity and wonderful friendly service again!

Absolutely lovely rooms and location. The breakfast was also excellent with plenty of options for adults and children. We will be recommending Blas Gwyr to our friends and relatives for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway in a beautiful setting.

Perfect location for a surfing holiday, with great breakfasts and lovely 'designer' rooms. Dafydd and Kerry were kind enough to act as a taxi for a special evening meal, and were happy to share local surf knowledge too! Recommended already to friends and family - thanks a lot for a very relaxing week.
