We had a fabulous long weekend at Blas Gwyr. Our room was comfortable, luxurious and beautifully decorated and the breakfast delicious. We were made to feel incredibly welcome and given excellent advice on what to do in the area. I recommended Blas Gwyr unreservedly.

This has been mine and my girlfriend's retreat for 4 years now, and each time just gets better. Daffyd is a fantastic host and chef, both evening meals and breakfast are perfect. The b&b is an Ideal place for quiet get away, hill climbing and without a doubt the surf is nearly as good as the breakfast! Keep up the good work Daf.

Had a wonderful stay. We had the room called Grug which was spacious and very comfortable. The wet room was brilliant great shower and as we stayed at a very hot time of the year was a bonus. Only negative was the sofa needs changing as it's starting to look tatty. Breakfast was very good. Very good poached eggs served in a relaxing environment. Daffid very genial and approachable host All in all great stay and would like to book again.

We spent a magical weekend at the Dafydd's B&B. Beautifully decorated room, wonderful company at breakfast... Not to mention the history lession and tourist information bureau, all in one person... Dafydd! We will definitely be back. Beautiful coat, great people.

Me and my partner have just has the privilege of staying in Blas Gwyer, we could not of asked for more, the room was absolutely stunning very well designed and spacious we LOVED the under floor heating! Just want to thank Dafydd for making our stay at Blas Gwyr so fabulous. The weekend away was a suprise 30th Birthday present for my husband, and Dafydd added the extra touches to make it extra special e.g. balloons, champagne and chocolates. The room was of superb quality and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We will definately be recommending this B & B to all our friends and family : )

Blas Gŵyr – July 2009 Having had personal recommendations in Cardiff off people who’d already stayed in the newly opened ‘Blas Gŵyr’ we looked forward to our break in Llangennith with great anticipation. We weren’t to be disappointed. Indeed, it was even better than our expectations, having a real Welsh welcome off our charming hosts Dafydd and Kerri in a beautiful, quiet setting. We stayed in the ‘Grug’ room, which was very tastefully furnished with modern decor and had a really relaxing ambience. A glass of wine in the sun trap of a courtyard was an added bonus, as was the bara lawr in the hearty breakfast, full of local produce. A real treat, we will definitely be coming back to have more of a taste of ‘Blas Gŵyr’. Diolch am y croeso. Geraint & Cath, Cardiff

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Blas Gwyr - it was perfect in every respect. Really comfy bed, beautifully decorated and so cosy on a rainy weekend. And the breakfast was delicious too. Loved everything! Perfect weekend getaway destination - have returned home feeling revitalised. Can't wait to come back again - hopefully for longer next time!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Blas Gwyr July 1-4, 2019. The room was comfortable and cozy and the property is centrally located to many beautiful Gower Peninsula sights. Spending time over the delicious breakfast with Daffyd, the proprietor, was a delight and gave me a wonderful introduction to this beautiful country and its language.

Had a superb weekend at Blas Gwyr - great location and very affable and friendly hosts who go the extra mile to help you out during your stay. I can highly recommend staying here.

How nice to find a B&B that looks beter in the flesh than on the website!! We had two great nights here and were well looked after. Rooms are immaculate, stylish and comfortable; as is the dining room. Also, in my opinion, situated on the best part of the Gower. Would reccomend to anyone. Thanks Dafydd and Kerry.

WOW, what a find. The perfect place in the perfect village, we fell in love with the Gower and each other all over again with the help of this very special B&B where nothing was too much trouble. Beautifully modern rooms and very reasonable price for the level of comfort and service. Dafydd's breakfasts and Italian apple cake are out of this world, and we can't wait to come back and try the Saturday evening Tuscan dinner soon. We were a family of four staying for a week at the start of the summer hols. Dafydd and Kerry were both delightful and welcoming. THe accommodation was peaceful, well appointed and perfectly located for our week of sun, surf and sea. excellent breakfast, full of local knowledge and even babysitting was arranged. Highly recommended. They were good hosts and a lovely family.

Perfect location for a surfing holiday, with great breakfasts and lovely 'designer' rooms. Dafydd and Kerry were kind enough to act as a taxi for a special evening meal, and were happy to share local surf knowledge too! Recommended already to friends and family - thanks a lot for a very relaxing week.

Dear Dafyyd - we just wanted to say a big thank you for looking after us for two weeks. It was a real home from home holiday, yet still with all the magic and romance of our first Blas Gwyr stay. We are missing our super comfortable bed in LLyrlys, your famous Glamorgan sausages and your wonderfully Welsh sense of humour. Your intimate knowledge and love of the Gower peninsula is the icing on the cake.
