Absolutely lovely rooms and location. The breakfast was also excellent with plenty of options for adults and children. We will be recommending Blas Gwyr to our friends and relatives for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway in a beautiful setting.

Couldn't fault the room,dafydd was away but his son and sue made us more then welcome,breakfast was lovely and the location spot on,would definetley stay again,would recommend the kings head in the village lovely food,and only short walk to it. We stayed for two nights would like to stay longer next time.

Perfect location for a surfing holiday, with great breakfasts and lovely 'designer' rooms. Dafydd and Kerry were kind enough to act as a taxi for a special evening meal, and were happy to share local surf knowledge too! Recommended already to friends and family - thanks a lot for a very relaxing week.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Blas Gwyr July 1-4, 2019. The room was comfortable and cozy and the property is centrally located to many beautiful Gower Peninsula sights. Spending time over the delicious breakfast with Daffyd, the proprietor, was a delight and gave me a wonderful introduction to this beautiful country and its language.

Blas Gŵyr – July 2009 Having had personal recommendations in Cardiff off people who’d already stayed in the newly opened ‘Blas Gŵyr’ we looked forward to our break in Llangennith with great anticipation. We weren’t to be disappointed. Indeed, it was even better than our expectations, having a real Welsh welcome off our charming hosts Dafydd and Kerri in a beautiful, quiet setting. We stayed in the ‘Grug’ room, which was very tastefully furnished with modern decor and had a really relaxing ambience. A glass of wine in the sun trap of a courtyard was an added bonus, as was the bara lawr in the hearty breakfast, full of local produce. Blas Gwyr is a magical little location in a most beautiful part of Wales. Thank you so much Dafydd for your kind hospitality and the delicious breakfast! We had a fabulous long weekend at Blas Gwyr. Our room was comfortable, luxurious and beautifully decorated and the breakfast delicious. We were made to feel incredibly welcome and given excellent advice on what to do in the area. I recommended Blas Gwyr unreservedly.

Where do i start with the superlatives, superb host in Dafydd , breakfast was a treat every morning great variations, Rhedin room was lovely and comfortable , with the wet bathroom an added touch, will re visit and recommend anyone to try Blas Gwr

We spent a magical weekend at the Dafydd's B&B. Beautifully decorated room, wonderful company at breakfast... Not to mention the history lession and tourist information bureau, all in one person... Dafydd! We will definitely be back. Beautiful coat, great people.

We had the Grug Rooom. Absolutely amazing. Big, clean and cozy room, fantastic, huge bathroom, (photo doesn't do it justice!shower-wow!) very comfortable. Perfect location - excellent walks, and near the beautiful Rhossili beach! The owner is a lovely man, who cooks a feast for breakfast!!! Ask him for directions and things to see, and things to eat - he knows everything. Would recommend 100%. Will definitely go back one day! Thank you!

Had a wonderful stay. We had the room called Grug which was spacious and very comfortable. The wet room was brilliant great shower and as we stayed at a very hot time of the year was a bonus. Only negative was the sofa needs changing as it's starting to look tatty. Breakfast was very good. Very good poached eggs served in a relaxing environment. Daffid very genial and approachable host All in all great stay and would like to book again.

Just want to thank Dafydd for making our stay at Blas Gwyr so fabulous. The weekend away was a suprise 30th Birthday present for my husband, and Dafydd added the extra touches to make it extra special e.g. balloons, champagne and chocolates. The room was of superb quality and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We will definately be recommending this B & B to all our friends and family : )
