We had a lovely stay at Blas Gwyr. Dafydd was a great host who made us welcome, gave us directions to where we needed to go and cooked the most amazing Welsh breakfast. Our room was comfortable, clean and warm a lovely place to relax after a day walking on the beach. We would highly recommend staying her if you visit the stunning area.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Blas Gwyr July 1-4, 2019. The room was comfortable and cozy and the property is centrally located to many beautiful Gower Peninsula sights. Spending time over the delicious breakfast with Daffyd, the proprietor, was a delight and gave me a wonderful introduction to this beautiful country and its language.

Blas Gŵyr – July 2009 Having had personal recommendations in Cardiff off people who’d already stayed in the newly opened ‘Blas Gŵyr’ we looked forward to our break in Llangennith with great anticipation. We weren’t to be disappointed. Indeed, it was even better than our expectations, having a real Welsh welcome off our charming hosts Dafydd and Kerri in a beautiful, quiet setting. We stayed in the ‘Grug’ room, which was very tastefully furnished with modern decor and had a really relaxing ambience. A glass of wine in the sun trap of a courtyard was an added bonus, as was the bara lawr in the hearty breakfast, full of local produce. Very confortable B&B with natural decoration, beatiful view and quietness. Breakfast very rich and including typical Welsh specialties on request. Landlord very kind and entertaining, with plenty of information on Welsh traditions, language and history to give. Would recommend it to everyone.

This has been mine and my girlfriend's retreat for 4 years now, and each time just gets better. Daffyd is a fantastic host and chef, both evening meals and breakfast are perfect. The b&b is an Ideal place for quiet get away, hill climbing and without a doubt the surf is nearly as good as the breakfast! Keep up the good work Daf.

We had a fabulous long weekend at Blas Gwyr. Our room was comfortable, luxurious and beautifully decorated and the breakfast delicious. We were made to feel incredibly welcome and given excellent advice on what to do in the area. I recommended Blas Gwyr unreservedly.

We had the Grug Rooom. Absolutely amazing. Big, clean and cozy room, fantastic, huge bathroom, (photo doesn't do it justice!shower-wow!) very comfortable. Perfect location - excellent walks, and near the beautiful Rhossili beach! The owner is a lovely man, who cooks a feast for breakfast!!! Ask him for directions and things to see, and things to eat - he knows everything. Would recommend 100%. Will definitely go back one day! Thank you!

This is the perfect weekend get away or if you have more time (lucky you!) a longer relaxing break. The standard of the rooms are excellent, the bed is incredibly comfortable, combined with fantastic breakfasts and the most stunning views and walks right on your doorstep you are in for a treat! We enjoyed our stay so much we got engaged here!! We will be back one day to enjoy the tranquillity and wonderful friendly service again!

WOW, what a find. The perfect place in the perfect village, we fell in love with the Gower and each other all over again with the help of this very special B&B where nothing was too much trouble. Beautifully modern rooms and very reasonable price for the level of comfort and service. Dafydd's breakfasts and Italian apple cake are out of this world, and we can't wait to come back and try the Saturday evening Tuscan dinner soon. We spent a magical weekend at the Dafydd's B&B. Beautifully decorated room, wonderful company at breakfast... Not to mention the history lession and tourist information bureau, all in one person... Dafydd! We will definitely be back. Beautiful coat, great people.

I visited right at the start of business and was amazed to be in such a wonderful place by the sea. Both Kerry and Dafydd were very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Fantastic is the only way to describe our stay at blas gwyr. Kerry and Daffyd are very friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are beautiful and breakfast is delicious, a good selection of local food, both hot and cold. We wish Kerry and Daffyd every success with their business.
