I visited right at the start of business and was amazed to be in such a wonderful place by the sea. Both Kerry and Dafydd were very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. I loved my stay and would recommend this beautiful place. The furniture and interior design is as good as any other five star accommodation I have stayed at. Blas Gŵyr – July 2009 Having had personal recommendations in Cardiff off people who’d already stayed in the newly opened ‘Blas Gŵyr’ we looked forward to our break in Llangennith with great anticipation. We weren’t to be disappointed. Indeed, it was even better than our expectations, having a real Welsh welcome off our charming hosts Dafydd and Kerri in a beautiful, quiet setting. We stayed in the ‘Grug’ room, which was very tastefully furnished with modern decor and had a really relaxing ambience. A glass of wine in the sun trap of a courtyard was an added bonus, as was the bara lawr in the hearty breakfast, full of local produce. Me and my partner have just has the privilege of staying in Blas Gwyer, we could not of asked for more, the room was absolutely stunning very well designed and spacious we LOVED the under floor heating! Just want to say a special thank you to Dafydd for his hospitality and beautiful breakfast !! 12/10!!

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Blas Gwyr - it was perfect in every respect. Really comfy bed, beautifully decorated and so cosy on a rainy weekend. And the breakfast was delicious too. Loved everything! Perfect weekend getaway destination - have returned home feeling revitalised. Can't wait to come back again - hopefully for longer next time!

Dear Dafyyd - we just wanted to say a big thank you for looking after us for two weeks. It was a real home from home holiday, yet still with all the magic and romance of our first Blas Gwyr stay. We are missing our super comfortable bed in LLyrlys, your famous Glamorgan sausages and your wonderfully Welsh sense of humour. Your intimate knowledge and love of the Gower peninsula is the icing on the cake. As well as recommending Blas Gwyr to all our friends, family and colleagues I think it goes without saying ' we will be back' Diolch, Cwtch and Hiraeth.

Had a wonderful stay. We had the room called Grug which was spacious and very comfortable. The wet room was brilliant great shower and as we stayed at a very hot time of the year was a bonus. Only negative was the sofa needs changing as it's starting to look tatty. Breakfast was very good. Very good poached eggs served in a relaxing environment. Daffid very genial and approachable host All in all great stay and would like to book again.

Absolutely lovely rooms and location. The breakfast was also excellent with plenty of options for adults and children. We will be recommending Blas Gwyr to our friends and relatives for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway in a beautiful setting.

Couldn't fault the room,dafydd was away but his son and sue made us more then welcome,breakfast was lovely and the location spot on,would definetley stay again,would recommend the kings head in the village lovely food,and only short walk to it. We stayed for two nights would like to stay longer next time.

Where do i start with the superlatives, superb host in Dafydd , breakfast was a treat every morning great variations, Rhedin room was lovely and comfortable , with the wet bathroom an added touch, will re visit and recommend anyone to try Blas Gwr

A fantastic place to stay, right in the centre of the village. The accommodation has a lovely fresh feel to it, the bed is really snuggly, and the breakfasts hearty. Daffyd is a great hosts- nothing too much trouble, and he's a great cook - the home-made glamorgan sausages are a triumph!

Highly recommended - cute rooms, quiet location FRIENDLY host. Great local breakfast. Knowledgeable staff to guide you around the local area. Absolutely no regrets about staying here.

Just want to thank Dafydd for making our stay at Blas Gwyr so fabulous. The weekend away was a suprise 30th Birthday present for my husband, and Dafydd added the extra touches to make it extra special e.g. balloons, champagne and chocolates. The room was of superb quality and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We will definately be recommending this B & B to all our friends and family : )

Very confortable B&B with natural decoration, beatiful view and quietness. Breakfast very rich and including typical Welsh specialties on request. Landlord very kind and entertaining, with plenty of information on Welsh traditions, language and history to give. Would recommend it to everyone.

Very hospitable host who made us feel welcome and catered for our needs. We enjoyed the home cooking and our 3 day stay here very much. We would recommend to anyone.
