I visited right at the start of business and was amazed to be in such a wonderful place by the sea. Both Kerry and Dafydd were very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Dear Dafyyd - we just wanted to say a big thank you for looking after us for two weeks. It was a real home from home holiday, yet still with all the magic and romance of our first Blas Gwyr stay. We are missing our super comfortable bed in LLyrlys, your famous Glamorgan sausages and your wonderfully Welsh sense of humour. Your intimate knowledge and love of the Gower peninsula is the icing on the cake. Very hospitable host who made us feel welcome and catered for our needs. We enjoyed the home cooking and our 3 day stay here very much. We would recommend to anyone.

A fantastic place to stay, right in the centre of the village. The accommodation has a lovely fresh feel to it, the bed is really snuggly, and the breakfasts hearty. Daffyd is a great hosts- nothing too much trouble, and he's a great cook - the home-made glamorgan sausages are a triumph!

Just had three nights at Blasgwyr, can only be described as excellent in every department.

Stayed at Blas Gwyr recently. Lovely rooms , very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We were well looked after by Kerry both in providing a great breakfast and also by telling us about lots of good local walks. Will be back in the Autumn.

Blas Gŵyr – July 2009 Having had personal recommendations in Cardiff off people who’d already stayed in the newly opened ‘Blas Gŵyr’ we looked forward to our break in Llangennith with great anticipation. We weren’t to be disappointed. Indeed, it was even better than our expectations, having a real Welsh welcome off our charming hosts Dafydd and Kerri in a beautiful, quiet setting. We stayed in the ‘Grug’ room, which was very tastefully furnished with modern decor and had a really relaxing ambience. A glass of wine in the sun trap of a courtyard was an added bonus, as was the bara lawr in the hearty breakfast, full of local produce. A real treat, we will definitely be coming back to have more of a taste of ‘Blas Gŵyr’. Diolch am y croeso. Geraint & Cath, Cardiff

Fantastic is the only way to describe our stay at blas gwyr. Kerry and Daffyd are very friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are beautiful and breakfast is delicious, a good selection of local food, both hot and cold. We wish Kerry and Daffyd every success with their business.

This is the perfect weekend get away or if you have more time (lucky you!) a longer relaxing break. The standard of the rooms are excellent, the bed is incredibly comfortable, combined with fantastic breakfasts and the most stunning views and walks right on your doorstep you are in for a treat! We enjoyed our stay so much we got engaged here!! We will be back one day to enjoy the tranquillity and wonderful friendly service again!

We were a family of four staying for a week at the start of the summer hols. Dafydd and Kerry were both delightful and welcoming. THe accommodation was peaceful, well appointed and perfectly located for our week of sun, surf and sea. excellent breakfast, full of local knowledge and even babysitting was arranged. Highly recommended. They were good hosts and a lovely family.

Couldn't fault the room,dafydd was away but his son and sue made us more then welcome,breakfast was lovely and the location spot on,would definetley stay again,would recommend the kings head in the village lovely food,and only short walk to it. We stayed for two nights would like to stay longer next time.
