How nice to find a B&B that looks beter in the flesh than on the website!! We had two great nights here and were well looked after. The weekend away was a suprise 30th Birthday present for my husband, and Dafydd added the extra touches to make it extra special e.g. balloons, champagne and chocolates. Dear Dafyyd - we just wanted to say a big thank you for looking after us for two weeks. It was a real home from home holiday, yet still with all the magic and romance of our first Blas Gwyr stay. We are missing our super comfortable bed in LLyrlys, your famous Glamorgan sausages and your wonderfully Welsh sense of humour. Your intimate knowledge and love of the Gower peninsula is the icing on the cake. A fantastic place to stay, right in the centre of the village. The accommodation has a lovely fresh feel to it, the bed is really snuggly, and the breakfasts hearty. Daffyd is a great hosts- nothing too much trouble, and he's a great cook - the home-made glamorgan sausages are a triumph!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Blas Gwyr July 1-4, 2019. The room was comfortable and cozy and the property is centrally located to many beautiful Gower Peninsula sights. Spending time over the delicious breakfast with Daffyd, the proprietor, was a delight and gave me a wonderful introduction to this beautiful country and its language.
