Blas Gwyr - Opening Safely Soon

But worry not, our First Minister (our equivalent to Boris) also has a plan and whilst we’re all waiting for our Mr. Drakeford to give us the thumbs up to open our doors to guests, we know that he’s taking his time in order to ensure the  safety of those who are visiting, living and working in the area.

News on the streets is that we will be able to open (possibly initially on a room only, self catering basis) in early April when we will hopefully see us back in business and able to welcome you all to beautiful Gower. Look for news of Wales’ opening dates on TV news channels, Welsh Government websites, social media and, of course, our own website www.blasgwyr.co.uk 

Over the past few months, a lot has changed and yet nothing has changed here at Blas Gwyr. First and foremost, our warm Welsh welcome will still, very much, be the same. And Gower’s fantastic beaches, hills and glorious countryside will be waiting for you.

However, in order to keep us all safe during this pandemic we’ve had to introduce a few measures that you will notice and make your stay…. well, shall we just stay different than before.

We really don’t want to spoil your fun and you may think some of our actions may be over the top, but we are, like our First Minister playing it safe, for now.

And when the doors are open you will be able to book on line, over the phone and through our partners but remember it’s always cheaper to book direct and even though you can’t book rooms for July and August yet, you can take advantage of the cheaper prices and discount you’ll receive when you purchase a Blas Gwyr Accommodation Voucher in advance of booking.
