Travelling to Blas Gŵyr – How to Reach Us


By Bus
There is a regular bus service to Llangennith village throughout the year from the centre of Swansea. Blas Gŵyr is directly opposite the Llangennith Terminus bus stop. You may take the following services directly from the Swansea Bus Station which is located near the Quadrant Shopping Centre 115/116/117.

By Car
The village of Llangennith is at the end of the Gower Peninsula.To reach Llangennith exit the M4 at junction 47. Take 2nd exit left and 2nd exit again at next roundabout. At next roundabout again take 2nd exit left. Travel along the dual carriageway down the hill and at next roundabout take 1st left, keeping Harvester restaurant on right travel underneath the railway bridge. At traffic lights turn right onto Penclawdd Road.

Thereafter just keep going straight, following road through villages of Penclawdd, Crofty, Llanrhidian and Burry Green until you finally enter the village. Drive down the hill past the pub - through the narrowing in the road and keep going straight on. On the mini roundabout - turn right and then immediately right into Blas Gŵyr car park.

The trip from the motorway to Blas Gŵyr should take about 30 - 40 minutes depending on traffic

By Rail
Those wishing to travel by rail can arrange to be collected at Swansea or Gowerton train stations by prior arrangement or link with an appropriate bus service that takes you out to Llangennith. Please note that Gowerton station is a request stop only and that not all rail services stop at this station. Click here for train timetables.
